It is a spiritual world of divine entities that protect and balance the universe. The gestures in Plata’s works are never-ending, bear minimal connections to the atmosphere of our planet, and often become meditational trances within fixated repetitive marks or looping lines that connects the compositions together, as is the never-ending journey that we as humans are taking to understand the meaning of life and the balance that creates the natural order of our existence. This world requires the viewers time and attention to slowly digest each hand drawn lines and strokes.
